Sometimes a new year really does

bring on welcome changes. 

Over the holiday, it has been encouraging to see an uptick in buyer interest. At Christmas, the Australian Financial Review share the headline: Buyers hope to snatch bargains over the Christmas break. And although I’m not sure how many “bargains” buyers snatched, it seems that this kind of media encouraged buyers to get active again. As a result, our phones were ringing fairly steadily with buyers setting up their requirements for the new year.

There were some concerning signs late last year that buyer volume had dropped away. However, this trend has not sustained, and we expect 2024 to bring buyer competition back to a fairly normal level.

Now is a great time to re-evaluate the worth of your property. This will empower you to make a number of decisions, whether you need to update your insurance, switch banks, draw down on some equity to fund a project, go on a holiday, or move. You may also like to purchase an investment property.
